The orc society in Elyndor is characterized by resilience, honor, and a profound commitment to communal unity. Descendants of the Ældari who weathered the harshest impacts of the Sundering's magical mutations, the orcs have consciously chosen a path that avoids the pitfalls of over-reliance on magic and contraptions. They've developed a unique culture that emphasizes martial prowess, camaraderie, and the vow to not repeat the mistakes of their ancestors. They believe that honor and esteem must be earned by individual hard work, and that no true orc would ever deprive themselves of a chance to prove their skill.

Orc society is structured around nomadic caravans, with each caravan led by its own Atriarch. These caravans are closely bound communities, tied together by bloodlines and shared heritage. Honor is paramount among orcs, and their society esteems personal achievements, valorous displays in combat, and demonstrable mastery.

Orcs are celebrated for their survival expertise and their profound connection to nature. Hunting training commences at a tender age, and orcs pride themselves on their physical might, stamina, and proficiency in living off the land. Once an orc reaches the age of maturity they are given the choice to either choose to apprentice under a tradesman in the caravan, or go out on their own to experience the world for themselves. It is believed that going out on one's own will test their resolve, and make them stronger for it. Their strength isn't merely a survival mechanism, but also a testament to both their personal and their caravan's honor.

Unity and allegiance are foundational to orc society. Caravans are perceived as extended families, and their members cultivate unyielding bonds of kinship. They highly value collective support, collaborating seamlessly to confront external adversities and safeguard their kin. The notion of sacrificing for the collective well-being is deeply respected.

Orcs venerate their elders, turning to them for counsel and insight. With their vast experience and knowledge, elders play a pivotal role in decision-making and charting the caravan's future course, both literally and figuratively. The sagas and insights of the elders are perpetuated through oral traditions, ensuring the continuity of cultural ethos and ancestral narratives.

While orcs might not share the elves' profound spiritual bond with the Divines, they have their distinct shamanistic traditions and convictions. Shamans, serving as revered spiritual guides, communicate with nature spirits, ancestors, and the divines to seek direction, restoration, and protection for their caravan. Ancestors and spirits are regarded as potent allies and a conduit of divine intervention in the daily lives of orcs.
